To Him that knoweth to do good.....
"Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can."- John Wesley

Bring it ON!
I am SOOOOOO ready for the FALL! It is my favorite time of the year!! It means that the HOT days are gone....and the delightful colors, smells, and holidays are on their way!
One thing I despise about living in Central Arkansas is the dreadful heat! This summer was awful...triple digits almost from the beginning. I am so very glad to say goodbye to that!
This weekend has been so nice....After a week or so of a hurricane, tropical depression, flash floods, and severe thunderstorms-it has finally cooled down just a bit. I am already burning my favorite pumpkin spice candles!! I'm seeing fall decorations, and halloween candy in the store, and I can't help but smile! =)
I can't wait to pull out the light sweaters, and scarves! (Yes, I know that is so female of me-but what can I say? I love it!
I am planning to enjoy some fun events this fall-like I did as a child! Even if I have to host them myself!! WHO wants to come??? =) I want to go on a hay ride, I want to have a bonfire, roast hot dogs, marshmallows, and eat frito chili pie! Also-I am ready to see multi-colored leaves blowing in the wind-ready to see God's beautiful "artwork" displayed all around me as I drive to and from work each day. What beautiful masterpieces he always creates!
And as this Season changes-My prayer is this: Lord, whatever you are doing in this season-don't do it without me!
Blessings!

So very true....
The Bible tells a story about a man called Blind Bartimaeus. His name simply meant: "Son of Timaeus". Because of his handicap-he wasn't even considered important enough to have his own name. He was KNOWN by his handicap! But one day-when Jesus was passing by-He began to cry out for Jesus to have mercy on Him. The story reflects that many people tried to get him to be quiet, but he cried out louder. Jesus stopped and asked him what he wanted. But as Bartimaeus rose to tell Jesus that he wanted to be healed of his blindness-the Bible tells us that he cast his garment aside. Meaning that he took off the garment that identified Him as a blind man-as if to say to Jesus that he no longer wanted to be identified by his handicap. How powerful is that? We MUST lay aside the weight AND the sin that so easily besets us! As we know-Bartimaeus was healed that day! He went forth from that place a NEW man-with a NEW identity!
Do NOT allow your struggle, temptation, or sickness to identify you. Refuse to accept your situation, but live every day-Expecting a Miracle. The same healing that Bartimaeus received that day on the side of the road-is available to us today!

Equal Ground.....
We live in a world that divides people into classes. Upper, middle, and lower. Depending on what class we fall in ourselves-we tend to judge others by their "class".
But one step into a waiting room in a doctor's office, a funeral home, or a place like where I was yesterday: a chemotherapy treatment center, and you realize something very important. Classes don't matter there-because no amount of money

can buy health and wellness. The Best insurance plans can't cure you. The ground is level here. Everyone just wants to survive. And all that matters-is that God is on your side. I am so glad to know that the God I serve-is a God to ALL classes. Upper, middle, or low-He loves ALL the same. And He performs miracles for all classes. I wish I could testify to everyone in this room today-and share with them the hope of Jesus Christ! What a mighty God we serve!!
